Tickr is an impact investment app built for ‘the next generation’ of investors. Tickr is on a mission to prove that you can earn money and have a positive impact at the same time. You can start investing from as little as £5.
Their business model today is straight forward, in that they charge everyone the same flat fee of 0.70% per annum on assets under management. Currently over 90% of their users is under 40 and over 70% are first time investors.
Tickr recently raised over 1m GBP through their Seedrs campaign. Unfortunately we were not able to test out their app, as it’s not available in my region. The 43 reviews, averaging a rating of 4.4, are positive however. I have emailed Tickr to see in what region the app is available and when additional regions will be added.

We got the response below from Laura at Tickr, regarding our question raised above. Unfortunately users in continental Europe will have to wait: ”At the moment Tickr is only available to UK tax residents and on the UK app stores. We’re hoping to be able to expand in Europe next year so maybe we’ll see you then?”
