When Charles Schwab asked Americans to define wealth for its 2018 Modern Wealth Index, two of the top three most popular answers they received had nothing to do with money! What mattered most? Well, for 30% of respondents lIving stress-free mattered first and foremost followed by being able to afford all wants (18%) and, closely after, loving relationships with friends and family (17%):
The above finding came from the Schwab’s 2018 Modern Wealth Index, an assessment that scores participants between 1-100 on how well they manage their money and investments across four factors: 1) Goal setting and financial planning, 2) Saving and investing, 3) Staying on track, 4) Confidence in reaching financial goals.
